Jon Druse and Chris Morgan met at Cloud CMA, where they helped build the CMA platform used by thousands of real estate agents nationwide. Jon led the product and engineering side, architecting the tools that turned raw MLS data into polished reports. Chris was on the front line — working directly with agents, teams, and brokerages to understand what actually mattered at the kitchen table.
Together, they watched the platform grow from a simple comp tool into an industry standard. They also watched the industry change around it. Agents today need more than just a CMA — they need a modern MLS search their buyers enjoy using, marketing flyers they can generate in minutes, and buyer tour packets that make them look organized and prepared.
Most importantly, they saw what hadn't changed: agents were still spending hours on work that should take minutes, and the tools available hadn't kept pace with what agents (and their clients) now expect.
After Cloud CMA was acquired, Jon and Chris could have moved on. Instead, they asked a simple question: if we were building a CMA platform from scratch today, knowing everything we know now, what would it look like?
The answer was CMA Studio — a ground-up rebuild with a modern MLS search that feels like a consumer app, smart comp matching powered by AI, beautiful report templates, a drag-and-drop buyer tour builder, a full marketing flyer suite, and sharing that actually works for both agents and their clients.
